Expert from Vaisala

On April 12-19   expert from "Vaisala" Ionel Dragomirescu vizited Department of Hydrometeorology. Aims of this vizit was to install server and client softwares for AWOS at the main server in the Telecommunication centre of the Department of Hydrometeorology.

Visit of MeteoFrance International (MFI) Representative Raphael Dumeurger

MFI representative Mr. Raphael Dumeurger visited Georgia from 9 February to 13 February, 2009. Purpose of the visit was determination of current conditions in the field of hydrometeorology, including meteorological maintenance of the civil airports, in the country. He visited Department of Hydrometeorology at the National Environmental Agency, where studied the existing situation in the field. Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Environmental Agency and the MeteoFrance International.
