Environmental pollution monitoring
Giuseppe Calori, an international expert on "Functioning of Atmospheric Air Quality Model", has held training for the staff of the Departments of Environmental Pollution Monitoring, Hydrometeorology and Geology of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, as well as the Ministry's Atmospheric Air Division.
The training was conducted within the project "Strengthening Data Processing and Modeling Capacities to Improve Air Quality Monitoring in the Country - Phase II".
During the training, the specialists got acquainted with the issues of functioning of the ambient air quality model, which will help strengthen the capacity of the agency in the direction of modeling.
The project "Strengthening Data Processing and Modeling Capacities to Improve Air Quality Monitoring in the Country - Phase II" is supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Government of Sweden.
