The department offers the following services:
Current and historical hydrometeorological data on the territory of Georgia;
Statistical parameters of multiannual hydrometeorological data. Complex climatic characteristics;
Construction climate services using multiannual data;
Determining the expected flooding areas as a result of recurrence of different periods of floods and floods (5,10,20,50 and 100 years) and it`s zoning on the map;
Short, medium and long-term general and special weather forecasts;
Warnings about impending natural disasters. Special forecasts and special warnings in avalanche (snow avalanches) areas;
Design of marine infrastructure hydro technical building structures, forecast of sea and river bank dynamics;
Measurement of hydrological parameters;
Measurement of meteorological parameters;
