The National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture has purchased portable, high-precision control equipment for the calibration complex required for meteorological support.
The atmospheric pressure, air temperature, synovial and solar radiation measuring instruments allow checking various parameters at meteorological observation points located on the territory of Georgia, including in mountainous and inaccessible areas, which facilitates the global meteorological data exchange to prepare.
The modern high-tech equipment was purchased by the National Environmental Agency with the financial support of the Green Climate Fund and the United Nations Development Program in Georgia (UNDP Georgia). The cost of the equipment was 166,374 GEL.
