The laboratory for the analysis of atmospheric air, water and soil of the National Environmental Agency has successfully passed the annual assessment of the single national accreditation body - the Accreditation Center. Also, the laboratory received appropriate accreditation for the analysis of newly introduced parameters.
Accreditation is a recognition of the competence of the laboratory and implies high standards of work.
The laboratory for the analysis of atmospheric air, water and soil is equipped with the latest equipment, where chemical and microbiological studies of water, soil and air are currently being carried out, taking into account the methods of the relevant framework directives of the European Union.
It should be noted that the laboratory is the only one in Georgia that has been monitoring the quality of the environment since the 60s of the last century and has unique databases.
