Climate forecast for winter season 2022-2023 in Georgia

The forecast for the winter season 2022-2023 was prepared at the Climate Prediction Forum (SEECOF-28) of the countries of the South-Eastern Europe region, including Georgia.
According to the forecast, the average air temperature in winter throughout Georgia is within the climatic norm or above the norm by 1 degree, and precipitation is expected to be less than the climatic norm in the Black Sea. Coastline of the sea and mostly within the normal range in the rest of the country.
On some days of the winter season, the temperature can drop to -8, -13 degrees on the plains and bars, in the mountains -13, -18 degrees, in the highlands up to -22, -27 degrees.
