A working meeting was held in connection with the preparation of the soil quality monitoring and assessment system guide.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, the Department of Environmental Supervision and the National Environmental Agency, as well as international and national experts who presented their opinions and presentations on the topic.
The development of the mentioned guide is important for the improvement of the existing system of soil quality monitoring and assessment in Georgia, as well as for the introduction of current international standards.
Preparation of the soil quality monitoring and evaluation system guide is carried out with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Government of Sweden, within the framework of the project "Governance Reform Fund" (GRF).
