Visit of students from the University of San Diego to the laboratory
Environmental pollution monitoring
San Diego’s Engineering students visited the National Environmental Agency's Air, Water and Soil Analysis Laboratory.
Students, together with laboratory staff, took part in practical work, including biological and chemical studies of water.
It is worth noting that the laboratory for the analysis of atmospheric air, water and soil systematically receives students from various universities and helps them apply theoretical knowledge in practice and develop relevant skills.
The laboratory of the National Environmental Agency is the only one in Georgia that has been monitoring environmental quality since the 1960s and has unique databases.
The laboratory conducts chemical and microbiological studies of water, soil and air, taking into account the methodologies of the relevant framework directives of the European Union.
