One more training was held to improve air quality monitoring
Environmental pollution monitoring
For employees of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture and the National Environmental Agency, a group of international experts conducted a training on “Zoom” air quality modeling.
The five-day online training was supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Government of Sweden as part of the project “Improving air quality policy development capabilities through the introduction of integrated air pollution monitoring tools”.
The duration of the project is 13 months and includes activities such as enhancing the agency's capacity in air quality modeling, zoom modeling, pollution source forecasting and allocation, and support in the development of an air quality management plan.
Air pollution is a major problem worldwide. To solve this problem, one of the most effective tools is continuous monitoring of atmospheric air pollution, for which it is important to introduce modeling and forecasting systems.
