Climate forecast for the summer season 2023

The forecast for the summer season 2023 was prepared at the Climate Prediction Forum (SEECOF-29) of the countries of the South-Eastern Europe region, including Georgia.
According to the forecast, the average air temperature in the summer period throughout Georgia is 1-2 degrees above the climatic norm, and precipitation is expected to be within normal limits*.
On some days of the summer season, significant deviations of air temperature from the climatic norm can be observed. In particular, air temperatures of +39, +42 degrees are possible on the plains and bars of the country, +37, +40 degrees in the mountainous regions, +32, +35 degrees in the highlands.
