According to the Environmental Assessment Code of Georgia, during the decision-making process, the guideline document on Environmental Impact Assessment may be used by the LEPL National Environmental Agency of Georgia. The guideline was prepared in 2017 along with development of the “Environmental Assessment Code”, although it was not fully in line with the approved code. Therefore, with the financial support of the European Union under the “EU4Environment” programme the guideline was updated.
