Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Emergency Management Service, the Hydrometeorological Service and the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan were on a working visit to the National Environmental Agency.
During the visit, the parties discussed the activities of the current Green Climate Fund (GCF) project in Georgia and the recommendations of the specialists of the National Environmental Agency regarding the rational management of a similar project in the hydrometeorological service of Uzbekistan.
The visit was carried out within the framework of the project "Expanding the system of early warning of multilateral threats and the use of climate information in Georgia", supported by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
