On August 17 of this year, an avalanche occurred in Tbilisi at the Didube-Avchal crossing, not far from Ksani Street, which covered the railway tracks and temporarily disrupted railway traffic.
A team of geologists from the National Environmental Agency assessed the current situation on the spot. Based on the recommendations of the agency's specialists, clean-up activities were carried out.
Geologists of the National Environmental Agency will promptly assess the collapse of the stone avalanche and prepare a conclusion. Based on this conclusion, the relevant services will take urgent and preventive measures.
