From the end of 18 October to the afternoon of 19 October, heavy snowfall is expected in the highlands of the Caucasus ridge, and in some places - in the regions of Adjara and Guria - heavy rain. The westerly winds will increase over time.
Expected precipitation on the rivers of Western Georgia could cause a significant increase in water levels, and in mountainous and hilly areas, landslide processes could start and intensify.
