According to information from the National Environmental Agency, the danger level in the Devdorak Valley is minimal, the water level has returned to its original state, and no floods or landslides are currently being recorded. The agency has recommended opening the road; meanwhile, specialists remain on-site to monitor the situation.

According to information from the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environmental and Agriculture, on June 6 of this year, at 08:35, the alarm system located in the Devdoraki Valley detected a flood event, prompting the system to immediately send an alarm signal to the Lars border checkpoint.

Specialists of the National Environmental Agency inspected the Devdoraki-Amal valley and assessed the expected threats by helicopter.

An initial assessment revealed the presence of intra-glacial jams and periodic bursts of water accumulated in the grotto, leading to the generation of waves. The maximum water level reached 4.50 meters, exceeding the signal limit of 2 meters for the river in the Devdoraki area.

It should be noted that at the confluence of the Devdoraki-Amal and Tergi rivers, in the withdrawal cone, there was a short-term congestion of the river, leading to a narrowing of the Tergi riverbed and a sharp rise in water level. However, the formation of a lake and blockage of the valley did not occur.

As a result of the visual inspection of the valley, there are no signs of slope collapse or traces of rock formations in the glacier and its surrounding area.  For reference, the effectiveness of a similar alarm system has been tested and proven for valleys near road infrastructure, allowing for road traffic to be limited in the shortest possible time.
