An online seminar was held within the framework of the EU program

The representatives of the National Environmental Agency participated in the online workshop held within the framework of the program "European Union for the Environment - Water Resources and Environmental Data," funded by the European Union.
The theme of the seminar was "Innovations in water management in Eastern Partnership countries.".
Representatives from the relevant agencies of the five Eastern Partnership countries delivered presentations on the progress made in recent years toward aligning with the requirements of the EU Water Framework Directive.
At the seminar, Marine Arabidze, Head of the Environmental Pollution Monitoring Department at the National Environmental Agency, and Marina Mgeladze, Head of the Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Biodiversity Department, delivered a presentation titled "Implementation of Hydrobiological Monitoring for Selected Ponds."
The mentioned online meeting was organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), one of the implementing organizations for the program.
