The project proposal "Black Sea Smart Marine Environmental Outcome System," developed by the National Environmental Agency of Georgia in collaboration with Turkish and Romanian partners, has been selected as a winning project under the European Union’s Black Sea Basin Program.
In this regard, a partnership agreement has been executed, signed by the head of the agency, Vasil Gedevanishvili, on behalf of the National Environmental Agency.
The main goal of the project is the establishment of a standardized communication system for collecting and sharing data from mobile stations and existing databases in the Black Sea region.
This will help solve the problem of data gaps in the collaboration process and will also allow partner organizations to produce ecological models and effectively share the obtained results.
