Specialists from the National Environment Agency and the Department of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Environmental protection and Agriculture, promptly investigated the fact.
According to experts, this year there is an abundance of jellyfish in the Black Sea. Various studies confirm that this is a bio-ecological phenomenon caused by various factors including global ones such as climate change.
Their number is determined by the living conditions on the seabed and in the water, as well as by the temperature during the spring season. The reason of flowing out a jellyfish from the sea, especially in conditions of their excessive number, may be the turbulence of the sea, the current and the direction of the wind.
The facts of flowing out of jellyfish have been reported in other Black Sea countries.
