Veteran employees of the National Environmental Agency were awarded certificates of appreciation and medals for their long-standing service and contribution.
At the initiative of the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songhulashvili, employees within the Ministry’s system with 50 or more years of work experience were awarded departmental medals.
The awards were personally presented by several high-ranking officials, including the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs, Mikheil Sarjveladze, the Minister of Regional Development, Kakhaber Guledani, and the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, Maya Bitadze.
The ceremony highlighted that the work of the awarded employees played an important role in establishing environmental standards and supporting sustainable agricultural development, which forms one of the key foundations of the country’s development.
The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Nino Tandilashvili, deputy ministers, and heads of agencies within the ministry system, along with invited guests.
