The Batumi Laboratory for Atmospheric Air, Water, and Soil Analysis of the National Environmental Agency has obtained accreditation in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
The laboratory continuously introduces new internationally recognized research methods each year and seeks their accreditation, which ensures the accuracy and objectivity of analytical results.
The scope of accreditation includes the determination of heavy metals, biogenic elements, suspended particles, and other parameters in surface, wastewater, drinking, groundwater, lake, and seawater. It also covers the analysis of heavy metal content in atmospheric air.
The laboratory is equipped with ultra-modern instruments and monitoring infrastructure, significantly improving the quality and reliability of research.
It is also noteworthy that most of the laboratory’s analyses are conducted in accordance with methodologies defined by relevant European Union framework directives.
