Specialists of the Meteorology Department of the National Environment Agency held a working meeting with representatives of the Synoptic Division of the Hydrographic Service of the Maritime Transport Agency.
Within the framework of the meeting, specialists of the National Environment Agency made presentations on modern technologies implemented in the Agency in the field of weather forecasting and weather-related natural disasters, as well as early warning systems.
Special attention was paid to discussing the possibilities of improving marine meteorological forecasts. The parties also discussed the deepening of existing cooperation and set specific measures for future joint activities.
The meeting aimed to strengthen interdepartmental coordination, which will contribute to improving the accuracy of weather forecasting and enhancing the quality of maritime safety.
