Research in connection with increasing of number of algae in Poti-Ureki section of the Black Sea coast is underway

In recent days, an unusually large number of algae have been observed in the Black Sea coast of Georgia, in particular in Poti-Grigoleti-Ureki area.
Specialists of the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia got acquainted with the current situation on the spot.
Samples were taken for study of qualitative and quantitative indicators of algae, as well as for chemical and biological research of the water quality.
The results of the research conducted by the specialists of the agency will be announced in the coming days.
