New, high-performance high-tech system will improve quality of disasters forecasting

The National Environment Agency under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture has purchased a high-performance, state-of-the-art high-tech system to improve weather and natural disasters forecasting.
The system allows the introduction of modern models of weather forecast that will significantly improve the quality of forecasting and allow specialists to create highly efficient early warning system for meteorological, hydrological and geological events.
The modern high-tech system was purchased by the National Environment Agency with the financial support of the Green Climate Fund and the United Nations Development Program in Georgia (UNDP Georgia) for GEL 1,764,688.
