Environmental pollution monitoring
The National Environment Agency of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Government of Sweden, is working continuously to improve air quality monitoring in the country.
In the framework of the project "Strengthening Data Processing and Modeling Capacities to Improve Air Quality Monitoring in the Country - Phase II", an international expert conducted five-day training for the staff of the Environmental Pollution Monitoring Department and the Air Division of the Ministry. Based on this training, local specialists have improved their knowledge in this area, which will be introduced in further practice.
The project is part of the United Nations Development Programme's Governance Reform Fund (UNDP-GRF) sub-project "Strengthening Data Processing and Modeling Capacities to Improve Air Quality Monitoring in the Country - Phase II".
