Environmental pollution monitoring
The National Environment Agency of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Government of Sweden, is working continuously to improve air quality monitoring in the country.
In the framework of the project "Strengthening Data Processing and Modeling Capacities to Improve Air Quality Monitoring in the Country - Phase II", the Department of Environmental Pollution Monitoring and Hydrometeorology of the Agency, and also, for the staff of the Air Division of the Ministry, an international expert, Nicola Pepe, has held another online training on "Data collection and processing for air quality modeling."
The training will enable local specialists to improve their knowledge of ambient air quality modeling and apply the experience gained in practice.
The project is performing under the United Nations Development Programme's Governance Reform Fund (UNDP-GRF) sub-project "Strengthening Data Processing and Modeling Capacities to Improve Air Quality Monitoring in the Country - Phase II".
