For the first time in Georgia, the National Environmental Agency surveyed the Black Sea floor with an underwater robot

The National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture has been equipped with a modern, high-tech, remote-controlled underwater robot for underwater hydrobiological research.
The underwater robot allows research to be carried out at a depth inaccessible to divers, up to 450 meters, even in conditions of limited visibility, and to perform video-audio recording of the current situation, monitoring and scanning the seabed.
Importantly, the robot, in addition to conducting underwater hydrobiological studies, provides a unique ability to control the depths of sea and inland waters.
The new, high-tech equipment will significantly help the National Environmental Agency improve Black Sea monitoring.
