One-week training on groundwater management was held for the specialists of the National Environmental Agency

For the specialists of the Geology Department of the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, a one-week training on "Modeling of groundwater using modern methodology" was held by an international expert, Vibrand van Ellen.
The international expert shared information with the agency staff about the practical experience and activities required for the implementation of the groundwater modeling system.
The introduction of a modern groundwater modeling system is important for solving various hydrogeological tasks, including the assessment and forecasting of groundwater freshwater resources, as well as their sustainable management in the long run.
The training was supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Swedish government.
