Fishery
The department offers the following services:
Evaluation of fish stocks and setting trade limits;
Develop recommendations for the purpose of development / implementation of aquaculture (including mariculture and ecological aquaculture);
Develop recommendations for the purpose of development / implementation of sustainable fisheries;
Analysis of fishing nets and fishing activity;
Statistical analysis of fisheries;
Water biodiversity research and monitoring;
Assessment of the conservation status of hydrobionts;
Develop proposals for the protection, restoration and prudent management of hydrobionts and aquatic habitats.
